At Honor, we’re committed to supporting local communities and organizations that make our neighborhoods special. Whether it’s through partnerships, donations, or volunteer efforts, we believe in giving back and making a meaningful impact where it matters most.
Volunteering
Event organized by the Michigan Credit Union League in collaboration with the Michigan Credit Union Foundation.
League Partnership
This partnership supported the addition of four new scoreboard installations totaling a contribution of over $22,000.
Pantry PowerUp
We contributed $30,000 to food pantries across Michigan to help stock the shelves and fight food insecurity in our communities.
Honor partnered with United Federal Credit Union to make a donation of $200,000 to the Benton Harbor – St. Joseph YMCA.
Supporting Education
Founded as Berrien Teachers Credit Union in 1934, we’ve stayed true to our roots in education with continuous support of students and teachers. From our annual scholarship program and financial education workshops, to our financial education mobile app, we’re invested in the future leaders of tomorrow.
Honor contributed to a new facility offering career and technical education for students across Kalamazoo County.
Each year Honor awards $30,000 to graduating seniors with funds of $2,500 each for post-secondary education.
Provides high school students a hands-on opportunity to explore the realities of adulthood, like managing finances and a budget.

Each year, 40 local teachers receive $500 each to enhance their classrooms and create better learning environments.
Partnership Request Form
Supporting our local community in an impactful way is a priority at Honor. That’s why each request submitted on this form is reviewed and carefully considered by our team. Although we’d like to say yes to almost all of the requests, the truth is, that isn’t possible due to the high number of requests we receive everyday. Thank you for your understanding!
All requests must be submitted a minimum of 45 days prior to the event or sponsorship deadline. Once a decision has been made, you will be notified via email, usually within 30 days of your submission.
