BERRIEN SPRINGS, MICHIGAN – March 4, 2024 – Honor Credit Union, in partnership with Data Guardian and Marquette County Solid Waste Authority, is excited to announce its 2024 Community Shred Day schedule.
Honor’s free community shred days offer a secure avenue for disposing of sensitive documents, including tax forms and other papers containing personal information.
This year, Honor is introducing shred events on weeknights and weekends to accommodate a broader range of community members and will be partnering with local businesses to co-host select events across its member center communities.
Each event will operate as a drive-thru service, where a team member will assist in gathering your documents. While shredding will not be done on-site, rest assured they will be securely transferred and destroyed by Honor’s trusted partners, Data Guardian and Marquette County Solid Waste Authority. Honor kindly requests that each household limit shredding to 10 boxes or bags of documents per event.

- Time: 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm (or until the truck is full)
Saturday, May 11th
- City: Greater Battle Creek Area
- Location: Moonraker Restaurant & Lounge
- Time: 9:00 am - 11:00 am (or until the truck is full)
Thursday, June 6th
- City: Buchanan
- Location: Buchanan Member Center
- Time: 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm (or until the truck is full)
Thursday, June 20th
- City: Coldwater
- Location: Coldwater Member Center
- Time: 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm (or until the truck is full)
Saturday, July 13th
- City: Kalamazoo
- Location: Stadium Drive Member Center
