MARQUETTE, MICHIGAN – MARCH 16, 2023 – Honor Credit Union is excited to announce the transition of KC Bjorne to Commercial Loan Officer (CLO) for the Gwinn, Marquette, Negaunee, and surrounding communities.
As part of the Business Services team, KC will work alongside Honor’s Member Center Managers, Community Development Officers, and additional team members to build relationships, serve the community, and optimize the business member experience by creating financial solutions for success. KC will be heavily involved in developing and maintaining business member relationships and identifying growth opportunities within the communities the credit union serves.
“There are a lot of great things happening in our communities, and Honor, alongside our local businesses, have always been very supportive of our tight-knit communities,” stated Bjorne. “I feel fortunate to be a part of both teams, and I hope to be an asset to our local businesses as they grow. I’m excited to return to a member-facing role and work with our member center teams to be a resource for our business members.”
Having served as an Indirect Representative for Honor’s Indirect Lending Team the last six years, KC is no stranger to building relationships in the community. He has a strong financial background, having been in the industry since 2003.
Over the last 17 years, Bjorne spent time as a mortgage processor, branch manager, direct and indirect loan officer. Prior to joining Honor, he spent three years as a Personal Banker with Republic Bank.
Bjorne, who holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management from Northern Michigan University, grew up in Chassell, Michigan. He has lived in the Marquette area since 2001 with his wife Kristen, son Colin, who is currently attending NMU, and their dog, Lexi.
