Honor Welcomes Kristen Vella as Mortgage Loan Originator For Coldwater

COLDWATER, MICHIGAN – AUGUST 23, 2023 – Honor Credit Union is excited to announce the hire of Kristen Vella as Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) for the Coldwater Area. 

As a local mortgage lending expert, Kristen will use her combined expertise and knowledge to provide one-on-one service to those looking to purchase or refinance a home and effectively guide members through the home-buying process.

Before joining Honor, Kristen spent time in various financial roles, which included two years as a Mortgage Loan Originator, three years as a Member Service Representative, four years as a Teller, and two years as a Jr. Loan Originator.

She is excited to be a part of the home-buying journey with members and be the person they trust to expedite their process to homeownership. She commented, “The relationships I create with my borrowers are everlasting. It makes me a little sad when the process is over because you learn about your borrower, their family, their situation whether it’s the 1st home or their 5th home”.

Kristen resides in Homer, Michigan, with her husband, two children, and their three dogs. Outside of real estate, she enjoys vacationing with her family in Florida and the Upper Peninsula, boating, reading, and watching her children participate in local school sporting events.
